Capital Adequacy Targets of 5 Major Banks to Remain Unchanged at 11.5%

In response to recent media reports suggesting that China's banking regulator had already lifted the capital targets of the nation's five biggest lenders above the official minimum of 11.5 percent ratio, the CBRC announced yesterday that it has no plans to change the current 11.5% target.
