Wholesale Price of Diesel Exceeded Official Retail Price in Some Areas on Tuesday

According to data released by a market monitoring institution, the wholesale price of diesel in the Beijing and Tianjin area rose to 8,150 yuan per ton on Tuesday, exceeding the official retail price by 65 yuan per ton. Some price monitoring agencies also reported that the pump price for 0# diesel had already exceeded the official ceiling of 6.95 yuan per liter. The wholesale price of diesel has also edged closer to the official retail price in other areas of the country too.
