Poor County in Chongqing to Construct 1.3 Billion Yuan Airport

Chongqing's Wushan County plans to invest 1.3 billion yuan to construct an airport so as to promote the local tourism industry. Despite being officially recognized as a national-level "poor county," the Wushan airport project has already been approved by the State Council and construction is slated to begin in 2012.
