State Council Announces Measures to Support Software Companies

The State Council issued a series of policies aimed at encouraging the development of the local software and integrated circuit industries. While software companies will be given preferential treatment in relation to value-added tax policy, companies that manufacture integrated circuits that reach certain technological standards, will be exempted from paying company income tax for five years.
