China's central bank will order some of China's largest state-owned banks to lift their required reserve ratios by 0.5 percentage points, according to a report on the Wall Street Journal's Chinese site on Wednesday which quotes two anonymous industry sources. The report says that the reserve rise will come into effect on Nov 15 and follows last month's interest rate rise.
