Published:
2010-10-21
The Beijing Traffic Management Bureau has already cancelled the release of license plates containing the number 4. According to the current system of alloting plates, car owners are allowed to choose a number plate from 10 available options. Given that many car owners have chosen to avoid the number 4, the build up of plates containing 4 has now led to 6 of the 10 options containing a 4 - which has caused some car owners to complain. The Beijing Traffic Management Bureau will no longer issue any plates containing the number 4.
