Motorola cuts China staff
Affected by a worsening global economic climate and a sharp decline in its mobile phone sales volume in the third quarter, Motorola began to whittle down its staff in China. An insider told the EO the company's Nanjing CDMA R&D center would be shut down, and its Beijing software R&D center would reduce staff.
